Oktoberfest and Arts Fair

October 31  9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
November 1 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.

Meet talented artists and craftsmen/women. Enjoy the food (sauerbeef and dumplings, brats and hot dogs), the music, beer and soda, the free admission, and much more at the First Annual Oktoberfest and Arts Fair sponsored by Christ Church.
 

Children's events:  
Moon Bounce, clown, face painting, interactive booth, Halloween costume parade

Airbrush Ink - temporary airbrush tattoos

Pet Parade

Food: 
A sauer beef dinner Saturday, October 31, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.

   Whetstone Grill - light fare and desserts

   The Original Strudel Factory - Famous for a wide variety of strudels and other pastries.

Artists include:

Fitzpatrick Designs
Baltimore Artists Phyllis and Robin Fitzpatrick supply one of a kind works of art with ostrich egg shells and modern jewelry!  Ostrich egg shells have original paintings of wildlife, landscapes and still life and are mounted on sturdy coordinating stands.  Jewelry sets feature distinctive resin pendants fashioned by the artist as well as wire-wrapped pendants and rings.  Each pendant is completed with harmonizing glass and stone beads

Pens by Gene
Hand-turned pens made from wood and acrylic.  Many pens utilize laminating, inlay and segmented techniques to produce one-of-a-kind pens


Partnership Crafts
Artist Joan Betzold has great handmade baskets and other items that are unusual, reasonable priced.  Many celebrate Maryland.

OldWorld Santas
Santa Figurines, Ornaments, Christmas Balls. Hand-made hydro stone Santas and Ornaments.  Hand painted Christmas Balls can be personalized by artist Dawn Moberly.  

Deesigns by Deena
Artist Deena Greenwood combines sterling silver, freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones to make unique jewelry just for you.

Brenda's Crafts
Brenda C. Miller specializes in "Scherenschnitte" (German paper cutting). The artist cuts a piece of paper into a design and frames it. She has many different motifs: country, civil war, lighthouses, angels, wedding, animals, patriotic, etc.

Eye-Catchers by Ferron

Exquisite jewelry: necklaces, bracelets, earrings, created from sparkling gemstones, classic fresh water pearls, and fine Swarovski crystals.

Deborah Franks-Earls - hand painted glass.
